Abotanso Community Initiative (ACI) is a community-driven non profit organization that focuses on education and healthcare of the citizens of Abotanso, a village in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. With focus on these two key areas we hope to develop a self-sustaining model for rural education, by supporting the community with resources for children and youth of the local community. We also hope to encourage the adults in the community to support their children’s education and improve their own livelihoods through adult education. The annual health screening would serve as health education program to educate the community on health-related issues.
